The Grief Recovery Method- Pet Loss Group Online

What is grief?

My favorite grief quote is "Grief is love persevering". There is something sacred and special about the relationship we have with animals. Whether your pet was a dog, cat, rabbit, horse, hamster, fish, reptile, and so on, the relationship is a special bond. Whether you lost your pet due to death or by other means, all grief is experienced at 100% and all grief is welcome. All of you is welcomed.

Grief Recovery Pet Loss Group: Consists of six sessions focused on reading materials and completing and sharing exercises in a group setting. Each session is two hours long.

Paying for your sessions:

  • The Grief Recovery Group is a support group and not a therapy group, therefore insurance can not be used for the group.
  • The online 6 week pet loss group (that runs for two hours each session) is priced at $350 per person, payable via square app, Venmo, or check. Details will follow once you sign up. You can split the payment in two and we can discuss that when we talk 1:1.
  • Reading is required, you will each receive "The grief recovery handbook for pet loss" by Russell Friedman, Cole James, and John W. James.
  • I am a licensed clinical psychologist and a licensed marriage and family therapist, however, when I am running this support group, I am your facilitator and not your therapist.
